About Me

Thomas Glucksmann | International Business Development | Partnerships | Cybersecurity | Dual-Use Technology

UK and EU citizen based in London, after 17 years on the ground across China, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore and Southeast Asia.

I work at the intersection of geopolitics, security and commercial growth — helping cybersecurity and dual-use technology companies expand internationally and turn complex risk environments into commercial advantage.

My background spans 12 years of business development, strategic partnerships and market entry across fintech, cybersecurity and dual-use technology sectors. I have advised European, Israeli and North American technology firms on expansion, risks and regulatory navigation across Japan, Singapore and Southeast Asia.

I have closed and supported six-figure enterprise engagements with financial institutions, regulators and law enforcement, and designed geopolitical and cyber risk briefings for C-suite and board-level audiences at financial, technology, energy and engineering firms.

I frequently share insights through public speaking and media commentary; you can find a selection of my recent engagements and analysis here

I hold an MA in Cyber Politics and Government (Magna Cum Laude) from Tel Aviv University. My MA thesis examined the changing role of the private sector in national security in the cyber domain — a question that has moved from academic to urgent. I also hold a BA in Modern China Studies from the University of Hong Kong (First Class Honours).

I am a native English speaker with full professional fluency in French, Mandarin Chinese and Japanese, and working knowledge of Cantonese and Hebrew.

I am currently open to senior business development and international growth roles at cybersecurity or dual-use technology firms, and to advisory conversations with founders and investors navigating security-sensitive markets in Asia or Europe.
